Creating Links (NSW) Ltd is a for-purpose, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the capacity building of local communities in the Canterbury Bankstown LGA. The services provided include family services, children's services, community services in partnership with schools and other local agencies, fostering, disability services and financial support services.

In 2016 the former City of Canterbury Council and former Bankstown City Council amalgamated to form the City of Canterbury Bankstown. The new Local Government Area (LGA) is made up of five Council Wards.
