NSW Elder Abuse Helpline & Resource Unit

The NSW Elder Abuse Helpline & Resource Unit offer a free service that provides information, support and referrals relating to the abuse of older people living across NSW. The service is confidential and callers remain anonymous. Individuals, concerned friends, family members, neighbours and support workers are encouraged to call if they suspect elder abuse is occurring.

In 2016 the former City of Canterbury Council and former Bankstown City Council amalgamated to form the City of Canterbury Bankstown. The new Local Government Area (LGA) is made up of five Council Wards.
